Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PressKit.space (“the Service”), operated by PressKit (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PressKit.space is a software-as-a-service platform that enables users to create, edit, publish, and share professional press kits as one-page websites. The Service is available through free and paid subscription plans with varying feature sets and usage limits.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us promptly of any unauthorized access

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload, create, or publish through the Service (“User Content”). By publishing content on PressKit.space, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload
• Your content does not infringe upon the intellectual property or other rights of any third party
• Your content does not violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Your content does not contain malware, spam, or malicious code

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid subscription plans (“Pro” and “Studio”) are billed monthly via PayPal. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' prior notice
• Downgrades may result in the loss of access to premium features and excess kits

6. Plan Entitlements & Branding

Each plan includes specific features and limitations:

• Free: 1 press kit, free templates, PressKit.space branding on published pages
• Pro: Up to 10 press kits, all templates, custom styling, analytics, discreet platform attribution
• Studio: Up to 50 press kits, all Pro features, white-label option (no branding), upcoming features

Published press kits on the Free plan display a visible PressKit.space attribution badge. Removing or hiding this badge without upgrading to an eligible plan is prohibited.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to:

• Host or distribute malware, phishing content, or spam
• Publish hate speech, harassment, or illegal content
• Impersonate other individuals or entities
• Scrape, crawl, or automated-access the Service without permission
• Circumvent usage limits, access controls, or branding requirements
• Use the Service for any activity that violates applicable laws

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, templates, and branding, is owned by PressKit and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service. Template designs are licensed for use within the Service only.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PressKit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the Service.

Upon termination, your published kits will be unpublished and your data will be retained for a reasonable period before deletion, unless you request earlier deletion.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which PressKit operates.
